The loved ones of teenagers unaccounted for after a deadly blaze at a bar in a Switzerland's winter destination are enduring an agonising wait for answers and requesting any details about their children via social media.

The inferno ripped through the Le Constellation bar in the alpine resort, located in the mountains of the Valais region, in the middle of the night of the first day of the year. Circulated footage reveal the roof structure being engulfed in flames as beverages with sparklers are held aloft.

Officials have warned that it could take considerable time to identify the victims of the disaster, which killed numerous partygoers and injured another 119. Officials stated on the latest update that 113 of the injured have been accounted for, with efforts still underway to name the remaining few.

In the waiting period, families and friends have been taking to social media to request clues about their missing relatives who were at the bar that fateful night.

Heartbreaking Pleas for the Unaccounted For

The whereabouts of teenager from Switzerland Arthur Brodard, a teenager, are still unconfirmed, according to an appeal from his parent.
